Panjtan School, operating under the Panjtan Society of Victoria, is committed to protecting the privacy of students, their families and our volunteers. This policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard personal information.

Information we collect

We collect personal information necessary to operate the school, including student name, date of birth, grade level, parent or guardian contact details, emergency contacts, and any medical information or accommodations relevant to a child's participation.

How we use information

Information is used to administer enrolment, communicate with families, plan classes and activities, ensure student welfare and safety, and meet our obligations as a community organisation. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Photographs and media

From time to time we may take photographs at school events for use in school newsletters, the school website, or community publications. Families are asked to indicate any restrictions on photography of their children during enrolment, and we honour those restrictions.

Data storage and security

Personal information is held securely in physical and electronic systems accessible only to authorised school administrators. We take reasonable steps to protect this information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Access and corrections

Parents and guardians may request access to the personal information we hold about their child and ask for corrections to be made. To do so, please contact the principal at principal@panjtanschool.org.au.
